Dựa trên nền tảng dòng series 400, Vela BS 403 được làm mới bằng ngôn ngữ thiết kế rất hiện đại nhưng vẫn không kém phần thanh thoát. Những đường nét thô cứng nay đã nhường chỗ cho các đường cong uốn lượn khắp bề mặt bên ngoài thân loa. Đỉnh thùng loa được vát xéo, mặt trước được bo tròn, phần phía sau được vuốt gọn và thon hơn.
